Mothering Funday is set to return to Harrogate town centre this spring, Harrogate BID has announced.
The event offers families the chance to enjoy a day of fun and win fantastic prizes for their mum, grandmother or guardian.
Delivered by Harrogate BID in association with Your Harrogate and Victoria Shopping Centre, the free event will take place on Sunday 15th March from 11am to 3pm at the Victoria Shopping Centre Piazza.
At the heart of the event is the popular ‘Wipeout’ inflatable challenge, where participants can test their balance, agility and determination as they attempt to dodge the rotating sweeper arms and stay on their podium.
Those who take on the challenge will have the opportunity to win a range of prizes, including a £100 Harrogate Gift Card and additional giveaways from local businesses.
Bethany Allen, Operations Manager at Harrogate BID, said:
“Mothering Funday is always a fantastic event that brings families into the town centre to enjoy a fun and memorable experience together. We’re delighted to be working with Your Harrogate and Victoria Shopping Centre once again to deliver this popular event.
“There will be some brilliant prizes on offer from local businesses, and we look forward to welcoming visitors into town to take part in the challenge and celebrate Mother’s Day together.”
The event is free to attend, and visitors are encouraged to come along, join the fun and celebrate in the heart of Harrogate.
The Harrogate Gift Card, one of the prizes available, can be spent at almost 100 businesses across the town centre, supporting local retailers, hospitality venues and services while keeping spending within the local economy.
