Police have made three arrests following a violent incident in Bilton last night (Wednesday).
Three boys, two aged 17 and one aged 15, all from the Harrogate area, have been arrested on suspicion of affray.
A police spokesperson said:
"Our investigation remains ongoing today and there will continue to be an increased police presence in the area."
Officers arrived on scene of the incident at the Nidd Viaduct just before 5pm and found a 17-year-old boy with lacerations.
He was taken to hospital where he is receiving treatment for injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening or life changing.
A cordon was in place between Bilton Lane and the Nidd Viaduct to allow for forensic investigation work.
