A talented gymnast from Harrogate has claimed a gold medal for trampolining after finishing in 7th place nationally.
Teenager Maryn Fraser, who attends St Aidan’s High School, claimed a gold medal at the British Trampoline, Tumbling & DMT Championships 2025.
The competition was held in Telford, where Maryn competed in both Trampoline and Double-Mini Trampoline (DMT) in the Men’s Cat 1 discipline, having previously qualified for the finals.
Maryn, who trains with Harrogate Gymnastics, had been preparing upgraded routines in anticipation of the event.
In the Trampoline discipline, he finished seventh nationally.
In the DMT contest, he topped the field and was crowned British Champion — winning gold in Men’s Cat 1 Double-Mini Trampoline.
A spokesperson for St Aidan’s High School said:
“What a huge achievement - we are so proud of you Maryn!”
The British Trampoline, Tumbling & DMT Championships 2025 took place from 3rd-5th October at the International Centre, Telford.
