A new pop-up campsite overlooking Fountains Abbey is proving popular with visitors.
Emma Terry and her husband Stewart have opened one of their farming fields to tent pitches and campervans in recent weeks.
And ‘Abbey Falls Campsite’ has been attracting a large number of visitors - including Parkrun enthusiasts.
Fountains Abbey hosts its own Parkrun every Saturday morning.
Emma said:
“We have had people stay from all over including France Holland Germany and Spain.
“It's been popular among the park run community as it is a minute walk down the hill to Fountains Abbey.”

The site includes a toilet block with cold water showers, wash basins and flushing toilets, alongside a washing up area.
The campsite will be open for 60 days each year, from 19th July until 17th September.
The camp site can be booked via pitchup.com or call 07949288093 to book directly.
