A yellow weather warning has been issued for the Harrogate district as the area prepares for heavy rain from Storm Jocelyn.

The Met Office warning for heavy rain comes into place at 11am this morning (Tuesday) and will remain until 7pm this evening. There will also be a warning for strong winds from 12pm until 3pm tomorrow (Wednesday). A Met Office spokesperson said:
"A period of heavy rain, associated with Storm Jocelyn, could result in the flooding of a few places. "Bus and train services will probably affected with journey times taking longer.
