Ripon BID has confirmed it will be taking part in Heritage Open Days 2025.
Heritage Open Days 2025 is England’s largest festival of history and culture, which runs from 12th to 21st September.
The free annual event offers residents and visitors the chance to access buildings not usually open to the public, learn about local history, and take part in activities celebrating the area’s heritage.
Ripon BID has produced a brochure outlining a programme of events, including guided tours of historic sites, heritage talks, and interactive activities.
The full brochure is available online at: https://issuu.com/riponbid/docs/heritage_open_days_2025.
For 2025, Ripon BID will also premiere three aerial drone videos showcasing the city’s landmarks and surrounding landscapes.
Heritage Open Days is a nationwide initiative coordinated by the National Trust with support from players of the People’s Postcode Lottery.
Events are held across the country with the aim of making history and culture accessible to all.
