Early Explorers Harrogate will be popping up in Victoria Shopping Centre for a free 'stay and sensory play' event this weekend.
Pop-up child's play event coming to Harrogate this weekend A pop-up play event for young children is coming to Harrogate this weekend. Early Explorers will be hosting a drop in ‘Stay and Sensory Play’ event on Victoria Shopping Centre’s first floor. It will be on Saturday (23rd March) from 10am until 3pm. The event aims to give families who are shopping with young children a place to “drop in and take a break.” Children will be able to play with a number of sensory toys and games. Early Explorers is run by qualified primary school teachers Fiona Cunningham and Charlotte Davison. It’s a sensory storytime class with a focus on speech and language development, as well as physical fine and gross motor skills that children need to develop in readiness for starting school. Fiona said:
"We are hosting a free drop in 'Stay & Play' for anyone shopping with young children to come, take a break and experience some of what we do in our classes. "There will be a variety of 'Exploration Stations' based around of story themes for children to enjoy and take some time out from shopping!"Find out more about Early Explorers and the drop in event via their website here.
