
Police are appealing for information about a dog bite incident that occurred in Thornborough Village, near Knaresborough.
It happened on Thursday, 24 April 2025 at 7.10 pm and involved a man described as being in his late teens or early 20s, wearing dark clothing, accompanied by two dogs.
The dogs have been described as a golden-brown terrier-type dog and a black and white border-collie-type dog.
The border-collie type dog has bitten the victim on the thigh, leaving the man with a large puncture wound to his left thigh.
The victim needed to receive medical attention.
Police are particularly appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, has any dashcam footage around that time going through the village or CCTV images of the incident.
