The PTA at Pannal Primary have raised a whopping £3,500 towards playground improvements at the school.
The group held its annual Summer Ball on Friday 17th May at Crimple in Harrogate.
The event included a three-course meal and music entertainment from DJ Mark Green.
And through an auction and other fundraising on the night, plus sponsorship from Holidays VIP, Mama Doreen’s, Myrings and Your Harrogate, almost £3,500 was raised.

The money has gone towards new markings on the playground and the school intends to erect a new shelter for pupils.
Pannal Headteacher Jane Turner said:
”We are so lucky to have such amazing parents who support our school.
“The children loved voting for their favourite playground markings and we are really hoping we will have our new shelter too soon.”

A spokesperson for the Pannal PTA said:
"Thank you to everyone that came and supported us, our sponsors, volunteers, all the teachers that donated time and activities for the 'Money Can’t Buy Auction,' Mrs Turner for hosting and The PTA and Sarah Green for organising."
The Summer Ball is just one of a number of fundraising events for the PTA.
The group have else held a wine and cheese evening and a Parkrun takeover.
