The opening date and location of a new sweet shop set to open in Knaresborough has been revealed.
Earlier this month, Your Harrogate reported that Mr Swainston's will be opening a new shop in the town following the success of its first location in South Shields.
The "traditional" sweet shop offers a variety of treats including traditional and retro sweets, pick & mix, sweets by the jar and gifts.
And owners John Gray and Sean Robinson have now revealed their new shop will be opening in place of River and Rose on Market Place.
They’ll be moving in on 1st April, with the aim of opening later in the month.

A spokesperson for the shop said:
“We visited today, and met with the lovely current occupier Kirsty, who allowed us in to begin measuring up ready for our refurb and launch!
“More information on the exact opening date to follow but we are so excited to get things underway.
“We’ve already had orders from Knaresborough via our website and you can take a look at who we are and what we do by following our social media or visiting our website.
“We can’t wait to meet everyone and bring our Traditional Sweet Shop to such a beautiful location.”
Find out more about Mr Swainston's online here and keep an eye on their social media channels for more details ahead of the launch.
