The Northern Homebuilding & Renovating Show is set to return to the Harrogate Convention Centre this month.
The event, running from 31st October to 2nd November, brings together self-builders, renovators and industry experts from across the region.
Research among visitors to the show reveals an average of over a 20 per cent year-on-year increase in spending on more sustainable and healthier homes, suggesting that homeowners in the North are increasingly focused on comfort and future-proofed living.
Sponsored by Korniche, this year’s event will feature more than 240 exhibitors showcasing sustainable living products and innovative building and renovation solutions.
Visitors will also have access to trusted advice from property experts covering every stage of a homebuilding or renovation project.

According to research conducted by the show organisers, average spending among attendees has risen to £63,000 over the past three years across five key product categories – ventilation, heating, renewable energy, insulation, and drainage.
The findings indicate that energy efficiency, comfort, and sustainability remain major priorities for those undertaking home projects.
Throughout the three-day event, a range of seminars and masterclasses will be held in the Seminar Theatre, covering topics such as heating and ventilation, garden design, planning, kitchen design, and budgeting.
There will be 35 Masterclass Theatre sessions, including presentations on “Renewables: Saving Energy Saving Money,” “Smart Ways to Finance Your Dream Home Build,” “Underfloor Heating and Heat Pumps,” “An Introduction to Passivhaus,” and “Renovating Sustainably.”

Visitors will also have the opportunity to book private 15-minute consultations with experts at the Internorm-sponsored Advice Centre.
The panel includes Homebuilding & Renovating’s Michael Holmes and David Hilton, design expert and architect Allan Corfield, planning expert Sally Tagg, quantity surveyor Tim Phillips, finance expert Tom McSherry, self-build expert Mark Stevenson and architect Paul Testa.
The show will be open from 10am to 5pm on 31st October and 1st November, and from 10am to 4:30pm on 2nd November.
Anyone wishing to attend the Northern Homebuilding & Renovating Show can register online here for a pair of free tickets for any one day of the event.
