Harrogate BID has started a new project to revamp benches around Harrogate Town Centre.
The BID’s Street Rangers have been tasked with refurbishing the town’s worn-down benches.
The aim is to provide “accessible seating” for both visitors and residents.
A spokesperson said:
“The benches provide easily accessible seating for both visitors and residents to Harrogate, so it's important they look clean and attractive.”
Harrogate BID has shared ‘before and after’ images of a bench on Oxford Street:

The spokesperson added:
“You will see the guys out and about over the coming months as they continue to work to make our town the best it can be!”
