The Lionesses have reached the semi final stage in each of the last two World Cups. But today’s opponents will be backed by the home crowd in the 81,000-seated Stadium Australia in Sydney. Daly, who played for Killinghall Nomads as a youth, has appeared played every minute of England’s last four World Cup matches. She scored her first ever World Cup goal against China in a 6-1 win in the group stages before converting her penalty in England’s last 16 shootout victory over Nigeria.
