Police have arrested suspects linked to burglary, rape, drug offences and fraud during a 24-hour operation in Harrogate.
The activity formed part of Operation Tornado, a monthly initiative by North Yorkshire Police aimed at intensifying routine policing efforts in targeted areas across the county.
During the latest deployment in the Harrogate district, officers made two arrests in connection with burglary investigations, as part of ongoing efforts to reduce break-ins and pursue offenders.
A drugs warrant executed in the Jennyfields area of Harrogate resulted in a man being arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
Police said the suspected drugs were seized.
Officers also made arrests relating to other alleged offences, including rape, breaching a restraining order and fraud.

In a joint visit with Trading Standards, police seized several large bags of illegal counterfeit tobacco and vape products from a shop in Harrogate.
The items were estimated to be worth between £2,000 and £3,000.
Patrols were carried out in residential areas where concerns about anti-social behaviour and drug use had been raised, including Bilton and areas around Harrogate town centre.
Retail crime patrols were also conducted in partnership with local businesses to address shop theft.
Joint visits with immigration officials to specific businesses led to the recovery of an offensive weapon at one location.
Officers were deployed at Harrogate railway station to target individuals suspected of using the rail network to enter the town to commit crimes.
Road policing teams also carried out patrols aimed at intercepting offenders entering North Yorkshire and addressing motoring offences such as drink driving, uninsured driving and using a mobile phone while at the wheel.
Inspector Greg Davies of Harrogate Neighbourhood Policing Team said:
“You could say this was all in a day’s work. But police officers do these things every day of the year.
“So while yesterday’s Operation Tornado has been highly effective, it isn’t just a ‘one-and-done’.
“It builds on the policing we do 365 days a year by allowing us to intensify our resources in a specific area and on specific things that communities are telling us they want us to tackle.
“In other words, we listen to people’s concerns, we maximise our resources in a specific area then we respond with full impact.”
North Yorkshire Police said Operation Tornado deployments take place each month in different areas of the county, focusing on issues identified by local communities and targeting criminal activity.
Inspector Davies added:
“It was great to meet everyone while we were on the beat yesterday, listen to their concerns and talk about how we can making their community even safer.
“This work continues day after day – we’ll be making arrests day after day, patrolling communities day after day and making North Yorkshire a tougher place for criminals day after day.”
