The Harrogate district can expect gusts of up to 58mph tomorrow (Friday), according to the Met Office.
The area is set to be hit by strong winds tomorrow morning, the highest of which will reach 58mph before 8am.
The Met Office said remnants of Hurricane Ernesto will play a role in the rain and windy weather.
A Met Office spokesperson said:
"Strong winds may cause some disruption. Delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges likely, and some short term loss of power and other services is possible.
"Some bus and train services may be affected, with some journeys taking longer."
