A Tockwith lady is raising money for the charity CoppaFeel by fundraising with CoppaTrek!
Donna Sanderson will be embarking on a trek through the Indian Himalayas with friends, for five days to raise money for CoppaFeel's life-saving mission.
Her trek will take place this November.
Coppafeel is a charity dedicated to getting young people educated about the signs of breast cancer to catch it early and prevent further treatment.
They speak to young people about why chest checking is important, from festivals to university campuses, from TikTok to shower cubicles.
With breast cancer being associated with older women, Coppafeel wants to change that mindset to help a generation get diagnosed early.
Donna, from Tockwith, found a lump in her breast a couple of years ago.
She was diagnosed with grade 3, invasive lobular breast cancer and the tumour was too large to remove without a full mastectomy.
Since her surgery, she has had no reoccurring issues and wants to be involved with charities that help bring the awareness she had.
Donna has previously done other treks with CoppaTrek, such as her 100km trek through the Sahara Desert.
If you want to support her journey you can donate to her Just Giving page here.
