Resurrected Bites is hosting a fundraising family fun day to help reduce food waste and food poverty in Harrogate and Knaresborough.
The family fundraising event is being held on Sunday 23rd June at Harrogate Rugby Club.
Supported by local estate agent Verity Frearson, the day will include face-painting, sports games, mini photoshoots, raffles, live music alongside food and drink.
Visitors are also welcome to bring their own picnics for the day, which will run from 10am until 6pm.
Jade Lapsey, one of the event organisers, said:
"There will be stalls; food vendors, a bouncy castle, fair ground rides and face painter along with free balloons.
"Food vendors include candy floss and ice creams, perfect for summer!
"We will have some performances throughout the day as well as a raffle and tombola. We may even have a visit from some heroic firemen!"
Resurrected Bites is a community organisation based in Harrogate and Knaresborough that aims to reduce food waste, loneliness and food poverty.
