Knaresborough Young Farmers have revealed this year's Christmas tree collection has raised a whopping £3,500 for charity.
The group collected 900 trees from homes across Harrogate, Starbeck, Killinghall and Knaresborough in return for a small donation.
And as a result, both St Michael's Hospice and British Heart Foundation will receive £1,751 - an equal share of the total.

The collected trees will be chipped and used as bedding for cattle at a local farm.
A spokesperson for the group said:
“The majority of the trees were collected on Saturday 4th January 2025 and then the club have battled through the snow to collect the remaining trees during last week.
“Thank you to everyone who gave up their time and tractors to support the club!”
