Knaresborough performing arts school scoop duo of awards A local performing arts school has won two awards at the Knaresborough Business Awards 2023. Freedom Performing Arts won 'Favourite Class/Workshop' and 'Most Inspirational Business' at the awards ceremony held at the Worlds End Pub on Saturday (16th September). The awards, which were launched for the first time last year, aim to celebrate the town’s independent traders. And this is the second consecutive year that the dance school has won in the 'Favourite Class/Workshop' category. "It means the world to us that our students and their parents love their classes so much that they took the time to vote for us. "We aim to inspire young people to go into this crazy world that we call dance."Other award winners include Number Thirteen which won 'Favourite Coffee Shop,' Mother Shipton’s won 'Favourite Attraction' and Claire Baxter Art Gallery was named 'Favourite New Business.' Amy added:
