Knaresborough Lions are hosting their annual Beer Festival next weekend as part of the 10-days of FEVA celebrations.
Knaresborough Beer Festival set to return next weekend Knaresborough Lions will be hosting its annual Beer Festival next weekend. Running from Friday 18th until Sunday 20th August, the festival will coincide with FEVA's Picnic in the Park at Knaresborough House. FEVA is a 10-day festival of art exhibitions, workshops, music and spoken word events. Lions Club President Bob Godsell said:
"We’re keeping our fingers crossed for sunshine again this year. "Our profits from the beer sales help finance Picnic in the Park, so we’re looking forward to people being able to enjoy the live music with a delicious pint in hand."Mr Godsell added:
"We’d like to thank all our generous barrel sponsors and local breweries who help with the event and particularly Ian Fozard from Rooster’s Brewery who has once again helped come up with a fantastic choice of beer and cider for people to try."Knaresborough Beer Festival Festival goers will be given a choice of 22 beers and seven ciders, along with lager, Prosecco, wine, Aperol Spritz, non-alcoholic drinks and a burger bar. Ciders range from a traditional scrumpy through to a perry or a marmalade-flavoured offering. Beers span all corners of England, so as well as some favourites from Rooster’s and other Yorkshire breweries, others will have come from as far a field as Cornwall or Norfolk.
