A new music festival is set to launch in Keighley this summer, with major headline acts confirmed for its debut weekend at Cougar Park.
Cougar Live Music Experience (MusicX) will take place at Cougar Park, home of Keighley Cougars, bringing two nights of live music to the town on 24th-25th July 2026.
Organisers say the event will open on Friday with a headline performance from JLS, followed on Saturday by UB40 featuring Ali Campbell.
JLS, who rose to prominence after appearing on The X Factor, have built a 16-year career, achieving multiple chart successes and BRIT Awards, including British Breakthrough Act and British Single for ‘Beat Again’.
The group has sold millions of records and tickets worldwide.
Meanwhile, UB40 featuring Ali Campbell continues to tour globally, building on a legacy spanning more than four decades.
Campbell’s vocals were central to the band’s commercial success, which includes 70 million records sold and over 50 UK chart hits.
Festival organisers say the weekend will offer a family-friendly experience, with a main stage show each night and a range of ticket options, including VIP packages with priority access and entry to a designated Golden Circle area.
The launch of the festival marks a new venture for the Cougars, who are aiming to expand their role beyond sport and into live entertainment. The event is intended to bring large-scale performances to a local audience, reducing the need for travel to nearby cities.

Piper Music Management, the show’s production with experience in staging concerts across the UK, added:

Event producer Horlock House has also been involved in developing the festival.
