Harrogate's Rachel Daly leaves message of support for Local Hero Awards finalists Harrogate's own Lioness Rachel Daly has sent a message of support to those nominated for Your Harrogate's Local Hero Awards. The Your Harrogate Local Hero Awards return to Rudding Park in our most glamorous event of the year tonight (Friday). The awards celebrate the most extraordinary people across the Harrogate district and shine a light on the things they do. And Harrogate's own Lioness Rachel Daly, who herself is a local hero to so many, has sent a video message ahead of the event. She said:
"I hope everyone has an amazing night at the Local Hero Awards tonight. "Everyone from Harrogate, you've done tremendously well in your fields but for me, I hope Chris Dixon wins, he's one of our own from Killinghall Nomads! "Good luck and everyone enjoy the night."Watch the video here: https://twitter.com/your_harrogate/status/1720451909104889923 Follow the Your Harrogate Local Hero Awards on DAB, online and on your smart speaker with Pete Egerton from 9pm.
