A federation of schools in the Harrogate area have had a week to remember after celebrating the end of their exams in style.
All Saints Kirkby Overblow and North Rigton CE Primary Schools invited pupils to take part in an ‘activity week’ to mark the end of their SATs exams.
Students in Years 5 and 6 enjoyed a day out somewhere different every day.
Activities included Live for Today at Ripley Castle (high and low ropes, water sports and raft building) a City Day in York, Beamish Museum, Xscape, Castleford (for skiing and sledging), Newcastle by train and a visit to Whitby for shopping and fish and chips.
A spokesperson for All Saints Kirkby Overblow said:
"A big shout out to Mr R, Mrs P and Mr A for being great sports and helping to make this week so much fun for our fabulous children: they definitely deserve a well earned break!
"Also, I am so proud of all of Sun Class for showing our school values, stepping out of their comfort zone and giving everything a go - they have been a pleasure to spend the week with."
