Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was sexually assaulted on The Stray in Harrogate.
The incident happened at around 8.30pm on Sunday 6th September, between Knaresborough Road and Wetherby Road.
North Yorkshire Police said the woman was walking across The Stray when an unknown man sexually assaulted her by touching her as he ran past.
The man then continued running towards Wetherby Road.
A police spokesperson said:
"We’re appealing for information about the suspect or anyone who was in the area at the time, and who witnessed the incident.
"The suspect has been described as a white man, skinny build, tall, wearing shorts, a blue/green running jacket and a white baseball cap."
