A Harrogate man has been selected to lead England at the upcoming International Kettlebell Marathon Federation (IKMF) World Championships in Hungary.
Jonathan Skinner has been appointed England Team Captain for the international event, which will see athletes from around the world compete in endurance-based kettlebell lifting disciplines.
Jonathan said:
"I am absolutely over the moon to be appointed England Team Captain for the IKMF World Championships in Hungary.
"This is something I am absolutely beyond proud to take on! I will try and be the best Cap I can be!"
The IKMF World Championships bring together competitors from more than 30 countries to take part in marathon-style kettlebell events that test strength, stamina and mental focus over extended time periods.

Athletes perform lifts such as the jerk, snatch and long cycle, aiming for maximum repetitions without putting the kettlebell down.
The competition is one of the sport’s most prestigious events and plays a key role in promoting kettlebell lifting as a recognised international discipline.
This year’s championship in Hungary is expected to draw hundreds of participants and spectators from across the globe.
