A Harrogate care firm has raised £870 for charity as part of its latest fundraising challenge.
Radfield Home Care, which provides care at home services across the Harrogate district, will walk 25.9 miles in aid of Yorkshire Cancer Research this month.
They set out to raise £800 ahead of the walk on 23rd May - and have already smashed their initial goal.
Yorkshire Cancer Research’s ‘We Walk for Yorkshire’ challenge invites people to get out and walk/run whilst helping them raise £100,000 to celebrate 100 years of research in the region.

A spokesperson for Radfield said:
“Every single donation helps fund vital research and support those affected by cancer, and we’re so grateful for your kindness and encouragement.
“There’s still time to donate if you haven’t yet. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, brings us closer to a future free of cancer.”
