A baby loss charity has thanked Harrogate events company Impulse Decisions for donating £1,000.
The Declan John Foundation, which supports families affected by baby loss, said the contribution would make a significant difference to its work.
The organisation described the support as particularly valuable for smaller charities.
Impulse Decisions raised the funds during a recent charity golf day, which brought together members of the local business community.
The company offered £1,000 to the winning team, to be donated to a charity of their choice.

West Park Care, a Harrogate-based provider of bespoke at-home care, won the event and selected The Declan John Foundation as the recipient of the prize.
Impulse Decisions, a Yorkshire SME, has raised more than £13 million for charities worldwide over the past decade through auctions, fundraising events and ongoing client partnerships.
Zoe Parkes, Founder of The Declan John Foundation, said:
“Donations like this are vital to keep us going. Four years ago, we went through the heartbreak of losing a baby, and we know the NHS doesn’t have the resources to support everyone, so we decided to do something to help others.
“We donate luxury candles, plaques and books to hospitals to support parents through the tragedy.
“We all know the stereotype of a father walking out of the hospital carrying the car seat, but when you’ve lost a baby, you don’t get to do that, so we offer gifts that are simple yet symbolic, so parents don’t have to walk out empty-handed.
“This donation means we can continue to support those affected by baby loss.”
