A wellbeing and skincare clinic in Boroughbridge is celebrating after winning three industry awards within six months of opening.
The Collaborative has been recognised with Private Skincare Clinic of the Year at the Prestige Awards, Best Salon/Clinic in Yorkshire at the Muddy Stilettos Awards and Best Health & Wellbeing Facility at the Business Awards UK.
The clinic was founded by local skin and wellbeing specialist Gemma Carlisle, who says she wanted to offer a different approach to skincare by looking beyond external treatments and focusing on the underlying causes of skin concerns.
The Collaborative brings together specialists in areas including nutrition, menopause support, counselling, massage, reflexology and gut health alongside advanced skincare treatments.
Speaking about the awards, Gemma said:
“When I opened The Collaborative, I wanted to create something completely different - a place where people weren’t just offered another facial or treatment, but where they could truly understand their skin and overall health.
"Skin is often a reflection of what’s happening internally, and I wanted to bring together experts who could help clients get to the root cause, not just manage the symptoms.
“Winning three awards in our first six months is beyond anything I imagined. It’s an incredible honour and a testament to the passion of our whole team and the trust our clients have placed in us. I’m so grateful to everyone who has supported us on this journey.”
The clinic says its approach combines aesthetic treatments with evidence-based lifestyle, nutritional and therapeutic support, helping clients address factors such as hormones, stress, sleep and overall wellbeing.
As it marks six months in business, The Collaborative says it plans to continue expanding its range of services and promoting a holistic approach to skin health.
Gemma added:
“This is just the beginning. My hope is that The Collaborative continues to change the conversation around skincare by helping people understand that real, lasting skin health starts from within.”
