A Harrogate bar has announced it will be closing later this month.
The Disappearing Chin on Station Parade has said it will be closing its doors for the final time on Christmas Eve after six years.
Taking to social media, the bar’s owners - Hannah and Jack Woodruff - said they are “devastated” and “heartbroken” to say goodbye.
A spokesperson said:
“It’s time to say goodbye. We’re absolutely gutted to be saying this but we will be closing for a final time on Christmas Eve.
“We have adored opening and running the chin, and most of the last 6 years have been incredible but with many challenges thrown our way we’ve decided not to carry on.”
Speaking about the reasons behind the closure, the spokesperson said:
“It’s a very tough environment out there for many small businesses and we have decided to close our doors so we can focus on our new family.
“We want to thank you all for your unwavering support over the years, we love our chin community and we will be truly heartbroken to say goodbye.”
