A Harrogate author has published a new children's book inspired by a cat with a disability, with all profits going to charity.
'Atticus Finch Wobblycat' has been written by Charlie Lovatt and tells the story of a real cat who has the feline version of cerebral palsy.
Despite his disability, Atticus embarks on adventures and meets new friends.
The book aims to carry a positive message about disability while remaining fun and accessible to children.
The story is fully illustrated by a North Yorkshire-based artist from Scarborough, and its inspiration comes from West Yorkshire.
Speaking about the book, Charlie said:
“I was inspired to write the book after meeting Atticus and being amazed by such a unique cat.
"When you know a cat as special as Atticus Finch you have to share his stardom.
"The opportunity to use his story to share positive disability messages is incredible.
"I’ve always been able to produce words when the story is right there.”
Charlie has chosen to support 2Wish with proceeds from the book.

The charity provides immediate and ongoing support to people affected by sudden death in young people.
Support includes memory boxes, bereavement rooms within hospitals, counselling, play therapy and complementary therapy.
Charlie said:
“2Wish is a charity I've supported for years via an association with Mos Eisley Misfits.
"They’re a charity helping those who have lost a young person, a trauma too many people have faced.
"The profits also support Atticus' family which offers shelter to a range of disabled cats who otherwise are often left behind in rescues.”
Atticus Finch Wobblycat is now available on Amazon, with all profits being donated to 2Wish and to support care for disabled cats.
