A popular gaming and toys event is returning to Harrogate for a third year.

The Odyssey Video Games & Toys Festival will take place on 4th and 5th April 2026 at The Crown Hotel, running from 12pm to 5pm on both days.

The festival brings together retro video games, modern gaming PCs, independent game developers and a marketplace of toys, trading cards and collectibles.

Visitors will be able to try games from different eras, meet local creators and browse stalls offering gifts and memorabilia.

Organisers say the event is designed to appeal to all ages, with hands-on activities for children and a relaxed atmosphere where parents and grandparents can watch demonstrations, explore the stalls or enjoy the venue.

Gareth Humphreys, Festival Director, said:

“Odyssey is all about bringing people together through play.

“You do not need to be a gamer to enjoy it. We have created a space where families, friends and fans can explore, try things out and have a great day together.”

Headline exhibitors confirmed for 2026 include Phase 4 Computers, Arcade Kid and Toy Land, alongside a range of independent traders and creators from across the region.

Food and drink will be available throughout the weekend, alongside free-play toys, short game sessions and technology demonstrations.

Tickets are available in advance via the event’s website at https://www.odysseygamingfestival.co.uk/.
