Harrogate BID has confirmed the return of the Harrogate Makers Market this month, following a highly successful launch year.
Originally introduced in summer 2025 in partnership with Real Markets, the Makers Market was created to showcase Harrogate’s vibrant independent sector, support local makers and drive footfall into the town centre.
Since its launch, the market has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from both traders and customers and has quickly become a firm favourite in Harrogate’s events calendar.
From February 2026, the Makers Market will take place every third Sunday of the month, running 10am - 4pm on Cambridge Street.
It will bring together a wide variety of local makers, artists, crafters, jewellers, designers and small businesses in a prime town centre location.
Bethany Allen, Operations Manager at Harrogate BID, said:
“The response to the Makers Market has been incredibly positive from day one, and we are delighted to be confirming its return from February. It has proven to be a fantastic way to showcase Harrogate’s independent offer while driving footfall and spend into the town centre. We have seen a real appetite from both traders and visitors, and we are excited to continue developing the market throughout 2026.”
Harrogate BID continues to work in partnership with Real Markets, the operator behind Harrogate’s long-established Farmers Market, to ensure high-quality delivery and a varied, engaging offer for visitors.
Any local independent traders or makers interested in taking part in future Makers Markets are invited to contact the Harrogate BID team via info@harrogatebid.co.uk.
