Flamingo Land has announced a full programme of new festive activities as part of its Christmas Experience Days.
The experiences, which will run on selected dates, will operate when the park reopens on 29th November.
The resort, which is currently closed for the 2025 season, says this year’s Christmas offer will feature several new attractions.
These include a daily Christmas Lights Switch-On at 3:35pm in Muddy Duck Square, led by Peter Rabbit and set to Christmas carols.
Also new is the PolarCoaster Express, a seasonal train ride running from 4pm to around 4:45pm, taking visitors on a tour of the zoo’s festive lights. Flamingo Land notes that the service is weather-dependent and timings may change without notice.
A new stage production, The Story of Christmas Show, will take place twice daily at the Bird Show Arena, while children can take part in Rudolph’s Ranger, a quiz trail or animal-talk challenge that earns participants a themed badge.
The park will again host a Santa’s Grotto, along with a series of hands-on festive activities such as Santa’s Magical Toy Shop, Mrs Claus’ cookie-making kitchen, a decoration-making station, marshmallow decorating and a “Magical Milkshake” experience led by elves.
Flamingo Land’s zoo will remain open during the event, featuring over 140 species and highlighting its new 2025 addition, “Lion Coast.” Visitors can also meet Peter Rabbit and the park’s mascots, Mia & Mylo, at intervals throughout the day.
A selection of children’s rides in the Muddy Duck Farm area will operate as part of the experience, and families can take part in “A Letter to Lapland,” where children can write and post letters to Santa.
Food and drink outlets will include the Muddy Duck Café and The Coach House, both offering hot meals, snacks and seasonal drinks.
Christmas Experience Days will run from 10am to 5pm (10am to 4pm on Christmas Eve) across selected dates in November, December and early January. Flamingo Land will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
Tickets for the Christmas Experience cost £16 per person, which includes access to the Christmas activities and a visit to Santa, though general admission to the park must be purchased separately.
