A health expert from Duchy Hospital are set to host a free public event in Harrogate aimed at improving understanding of prostate health and testing.
The information evening will take place on Thursday 29th January at Cedar Court Hotel, starting at 6.30pm, and is open to anyone seeking clear, balanced guidance on prostate-related issues.
The session, titled “Testing Time: A civilised conversation about PSA and prostate cancer”, will be led by Consultant Urologist Aditya Raja.
It will focus on explaining prostate cancer, PSA testing, when testing may be appropriate and how results can be interpreted - with an emphasis on evidence-based information.
Organisers say the event is designed to provide a relaxed, non-judgemental environment where attendees can listen to expert advice and ask questions openly, without pressure or assumptions.
The discussion is intended to support individuals who may be concerned about their own health, those supporting family members or friends, or anyone wishing to be better informed about prostate health.
Light refreshments will be provided, and attendance is free, although advance registration is required due to limited capacity.
Further details and registration information can be found here.
