Plans are underway for the return of the popular annual Masham Tractor Run.
The Masham Young Farmers Club will once again host the event, raising funds for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the club’s own activities.
Returning on Sunday 17th May, the run will begin at Thornton Watlass Crossroads, starting from a field with permission from the Johnson family.
Participants are expected to leave promptly at 10am, following a similar format to last year’s event.

Although the full route has not yet been finalised, organisers say the convoy will head towards Leyburn Auction Mart, arriving at around 12–12:30pm, before returning via Fearby for an anticipated finish at around 3pm.
Cieran Imeson, Vice Chairman of Masham Young Farmers, said:
“We have chosen to support the YAA as it’s a vital, life saving service in our area and especially in the farming community.
"Many farming families live in remote places in Yorkshire where there’s limited roads links for emergency services, so having access to the air ambulance means these people still have the same support if they are involved in an accident or incident where they need help.”
Entry costs have been set at £15 per tractor and £10 per passenger. All proceeds from the event will be split between the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Masham Young Farmers Club funds.
Those wishing to take part are asked to register in advance by contacting Cieran Imeson directly on 07526541116.
Updates will also be shared via the event’s Facebook page here.
