A Harrogate street packed full of independent businesses is hosting a day of discounts this weekend.
Commercial Street businesses are taking part in ‘Purple Saturday’ on Saturday (26th October).
The day will see around 20 independent retailers offering special offers for one day only.
The day will be fundraising for three selected charities: Miss Mollies, Harrogate Hospital Community Trust and New Beginnings.
A spokesperson for Commercial Street’s retailers group said:
“For one day only, around 20 of our indie shops will each have an extraordinary special offer. Join us to grab bargains and start your Christmas shopping early!”
Harrogate Town AFC’s store will also be holding a charity tombola and raffle, offering club merchandise as prizes.
