Motorists are facing fresh disruption in Harrogate after temporary three-way traffic lights were installed at the Prince of Wales roundabout.
The lights are affecting traffic movements between Otley Road, Leeds Road and York Place.
Northern Powergrid is carrying out the works, which are expected to run until 7th March.
And the temporary one-way system is already causing confusion for motorists:
The latest measures follow several weeks of disruption caused by the closure of Otley Road, which has already placed pressure on surrounding routes.
Today’s installation is linked to ongoing works in the area, with temporary traffic management required to allow construction to continue safely.
Drivers are being advised to allow extra time for journeys and consider alternative routes where possible while the temporary lights remain in place.
