Ladies’ Doubles – Judith Storr and Ann Wilkes
Men’s Doubles – Conrad Garcia and James Moore
Head Coach of Boroughbridge Tennis Club, Ellie Makin, commented,
“What an ace weekend at the club! Both days were really enjoyable for all.
We saw some brilliant, evenly matched games making the trophy wins even more special.
Tennis is such a fantastic game, so beneficial for both the body and the mind and I would really encourage anybody to give it a try.”
Chair of the Tennis Club, Ian Andrews, said,
“We have a really friendly club here at Boroughbridge and weekends like this show how great it is to be a member.
It’s smashing that so many people wanted to join in with some competitive tennis – whether they wanted to win or just take part.
For some of the juniors, this was their first experience of playing a match and having these opportunities to play is vital to improving their game.”
