Popular tourist attraction Stump Cross Caverns has launched an appeal for help to locate a rare piece of Amber that has gone missing.
The piece of Amber, worth £750, was taken last Saturday (29th June) following a fossil dig at the Pateley Bridge site.
Stump Cross Caverns said they "pride themselves" on allowing visitors to see pieces that would usually be behind cabinets.
Launching an appeal via Facebook, they said:
'Please can you check your children's pockets to see if they took it by mistake. Thank you so much for your help'
They are currently looking through CCTV footage and emailing all visitors from that day.
If you have any information on the whereabouts of the piece of Amber please contact Stump Cross Caverns on 01756 752780 or email them at enquiries@stumpcrosscaverns.co.uk.
