Spring artisan market to be held at Harewood House this weekend A three-day artisan market will be heading to Harewood House this weekend. Curated by Little Bird Made, the Winter Artisan Market will run from Friday 8th until Sunday 10th March, featuring over 100 local makers, crafters and producers. The market will take place around Harewood House’s North lawn, open from 10am until 4pm each day. Managing Director of Little Bird Jackie Crozier said:
“Following the success of our last event we are delighted to be working in partnership with Harewood staff to bring a Spring event for everyone in 2024. “There will be over 100 stalls with lots of amazing and unique handcrafted items that you won’t find in the shops.”Jackie added:
“This is an amazing opportunity for our traders to show all the visitors just how talented and creative people of Yorkshire are, and what better venue to showcase these than the beautiful setting of Harewood House? “We can’t wait to meet all our customers next week, both new and old. I guarantee you will have a great day out!”Pre-booked entry is charged at £5 (free for Harewood members) or £7.50 on the day. Regular trader with Little Bird, Paul from Paula Beaumont Photography said:
“I'm so looking forward to having my stall at Harewood House next week. Spring is my favourite time of year for trading and photography! “The promise of warmer days and all the spring flowers and blossoms are beautiful. It's going to be a fabulous three days.”All markets are outdoors. Visitors are advised to dress appropriately for the weather conditions. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome in the Grounds, but not permitted in the Farm Experience, Adventure Playground, Woodland Wonderland or indoor areas. Find out more about the event here.
