The search is continuing for a missing pet cat from Knaresborough, more than a month after he was last seen.
Blue, a friendly male cat, disappeared from the Trinity Fields area on Saturday 13th December.
His family say there have still been no confirmed sightings and are renewing their appeal to the public in the hope of bringing him home.
Owner Leah Francis said the disappearance has been particularly distressing for her three young sons, who helped buy Blue using their own birthday money. She said that the children consider Blue to be part of the family.

Blue is a neutered cross-breed cat and not fully pedigree. Due to his affectionate and trusting nature, Leah believes he may have been mistaken for a stray and taken in by someone with good intentions.
Leah said:
“Please can people still keep looking, especially down the lakes/lanes in Knaresborough where he may have wandered too far.
"My gut tells me he’s been taken. If he has I can understand why you would, as he’s such a loving cat but please return him.”
The family is continuing to offer a £500 reward for information that leads to Blue being safely returned.
Anyone who may have seen Blue or has information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Leah on 07872 937641.
