A highly regarded hotel and restaurant near Boroughbridge is looking for a new operator to take it forward.
The Lime Tree Inn, in the village of Great Ouseburn, is being marketed on a ten-year lease by property agents Fleurets.
The business, which is currently closed, is available for a guide rent of £59,500 per year.
Built in 2020, the inn was created to reflect the character of a traditional country pub, with stonework, timber beams and a warm interior.
In a short time it earned recognition, achieving two AA Rosettes and five-star silver hotel status, and was listed in the Michelin Guide as well as the Estrella Damm Top 50 Gastropubs.
It also featured on Channel 4’s Four in a Bed.
The venue was previously run by Rob and Heloisa Mitchell, who developed it into a destination for both locals and visitors, combining modern hospitality with a community-focused ethos.
Simon Hall, director and head of agency North at Fleurets, said:
“This is an incredibly rare opportunity. The Lime Tree Inn was a new build in 2020, developed to exacting standards and taken on by its’ first tenants who went on to achieve national recognition.
“With its strong foundations and established reputation, this property offers huge potential for a new operator to step in and continue its growth story.”
Viewings are by appointment only through Fleurets.
