A new independent coffee shop has opened its doors in Knaresborough.
Butter&Bean has launched at 33 Marketplace, offering specialty coffee, locally sourced baked goods and a week-long opening promotion.
To mark the launch, the café will be selling cupcakes for £1 each throughout its opening week, running from 21st to 28th January.
The new café aims to provide a relaxed space for residents and visitors, with seating designed for casual meetings, remote working and social catch-ups.
The menu focuses on specialty coffee alongside cakes, breads and pastries.

Butter&Bean serves coffee supplied by Darkwoods Roastery, an award-winning independent roastery based in West Yorkshire.
Baked goods are sourced from local businesses including Manna Bakery and Baltzersen's.
Founder Emma Mitchell said:
“We’re so excited to officially open our doors! Our focus is quality and flavour.
“All of our menu is homemade or sourced from local bakeries.
“We’re particularly proud of our signature ‘Trio’ and our mini cupcakes are also great for celebrations, parties, office treats, and as something a bit different for corporate catering.”
A key feature of the menu is a range of mini cupcakes, available in more than 20 flavours.
These can be ordered individually or as part of the café’s “Trio” option, which includes three mini cupcakes served with any hot drink.
Further information is available via social media.
