A Harrogate dance group will join 1,500 dancers in an attempt to break a world record with chart-topping DJ Sigala.
E.K Cheer & Dance will be attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the most backing dancers performing with a live artist, which currently stands at 993.
The attempt will take place at Bartercard Odsal Stadium in Bradford on Friday 20th March before Bradford Bulls' match with Huddersfield Giants.
E.K Galaxy Cheer & Dance cater for those who want to compete at the highest level, as well as for those who simply want to have fun in a welcoming environment.
Director Eleanor Hetherington told Your Harrogate:
"What an amazing core memory to perform this.
"I was a competitive cheerleader, and when I graduated, I wanted to set this up where I'm from."
E.K Galaxy Cheer & Dance run classes out of their studios in North Rigton and at Harrogate Ladies College (soon to be Duchy College).

With both competitive and recreational teams, they take on dancers from age 4 upwards.
Eleanor added:
"You've got to lift each other up, you've got to keep flexible, you've got to keep fit.
"It's incredible for children. If you want your little one to get involved, I'd get them into our recreational teams and just get them started - it's amazing!"
The world record attempt will be televised on Sky Sports+ before kick off at 8pm on Friday 20th March.
