The Knaresborough Tractor Run is set to return to the area on Sunday 17th March - and entries are now open for participants.
More cab-less vintage tractors wanted for Knaresborough Tractor Run With just one month to go until the return of the Knaresborough Tractor Run - organisers are calling for more cab-less vintage tractors to join the event. The ever-popular showcase returns on Sunday 17th March to fundraise for Yorkshire Air Ambulance. It’s raised more than £113,000 for the charity since it launched in 2012 and continues to grow in size. Over 370 tractors took part in 2023 for what is now considered one of the UK's largest tractor runs. And registration is now open for people looking to take part in 2024. Tom Fawcett, one of the organisers, said:
“We highly encourage people to pre-sign in to help reduce the registration time on the day. “Once again, the committee are looking forward to welcoming you in joining us to try and raise as much as we can for the Yorkshire air ambulance!”The entry fee for the event will be £20, with passengers costing £10, staying at the same rate as previous years, but the sign in on the day rate will be £25 per driver. To encourage more cab-less vintage tractors to take part, the committee will charge a flat rate of £20 whether registration takes place before 17th March or on the day. The starting point, as in previous years, will be the showground in Harrogate, followed by a lunch stop in Pateley Bridge. The full route is expected to be released during the week leading up to the day of the run.
