Tom Gordon completed the run on 8th September in Newcastle.
Tom's target was to raise £500 for the charity located at Hornbeam Park in Harrogate but managed to exceed his target to raise £850.
St Michael's Hospice is a local hospice care charity ensuring people affected by terminal illness across the Harrogate district can access high-quality, personalised care.
He completed the run in 2 hours and 54 seconds, making it his best time in the run to date.
His attendance at the run received a lot of praise from Harrogate locals with one Facebook user saying,
'I've got to say you're the only councillor and mp that I see getting involved with everything and everyone, that's how it should be,well done'
Tom is known to get involved with lots of charity fundraisers.
In 2023 he completed the Great North Run for the first time, in aid of St Michael's Hospice.
He has also completed fundraisers for Cancer Research and Alzheimer’s Society.
