The Knaresborough Tractor Run organisers have launched an appeal for volunteers to sign up to keep the event going.
Knaresborough Tractor Run organisers launch appeal for volunteers The organisers of the annual Knaresborough Tractor Run are calling for volunteers to keep the event going. The Tractor Run has continued to grow in size in size since it launched in 2012 and last year, raised £113,000 for Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Over 370 tractors hit the roads around the Harrogate District earlier this year - and the event is now considered one of the UK's largest tractor runs. But ahead of next year’s event in March, the Knaresborough Tractor Run committee are asking for more volunteers to help the event continue. Committee chairman Steven Brown said volunteers are a vital part of the event:
“We can’t thank the volunteers enough because without them it wouldn’t happen and couldn’t happen. “There is so many local communities that even in this hard climate that we’re in, are still willing to donate time and their stock.”Volunteers are needed to help assist with stewarding on the day of the run.
