The club was formed in Summer last year and won every game in their first season in West Riding County Women's Football League Division Four. Town finished the season with 18 victories and over 160 goals scored, beating second place Bradford City U21's to the title by 12 points. The club were due to be promoted to Division Three but, following an application to the Football Association, will jump up to play in Division Two.
