Henshaws looking for 100 businesses to take part in fundraising campaign Harrogate-based charity Henshaws is looking for 100 businesses to take part in its ‘Henshaws Hundreds’ fundraising campaign throughout June. The charity supports those living with sight loss and other disabilities to build skills, develop confidence and look forward to a more positive future. And throughout this month, the charity is asking businesses to donate £100 each as they attempt to raise a total of £20,000. A spokesperson for Henshaws said:
“Help demonstrate diversity and inclusivity are high on the agenda and do something amazing to support the 22 out of 100 people living with a disability in the UK. “Show your local community, your stakeholders and your existing and new clients you really care!”The ‘Henshaws Hundreds’ campaign asks those taking part to fundraise whilst taking on a challenge, whether that be running, walking, baking or even singing! People taking part can either take on their challenge alone or in a team, and are asked to shoot for a target of £100.
