Harrogate's Lioness Rachel Daly has been presented with an award for being England's joint top goalscorer during the 2022/23 season.
Harrogate's Rachel Daly presented with England top goalscorer award Harrogate's Lioness Rachel Daly has been presented with an award for being England's joint top goalscorer during the 2022/23 season. 31-year-old Rachel, who went to Rossett School, was presented with a trophy alongside teammate Alessia Russo. Rachel scored 7 goals for England this calendar year including her first World Cup goal in the Lionesses' 6-1 win over China. Both Rachel and Alessia were surprised by teammate and England captain Millie Bright, with the video shared on social media. When asked her favourite goal, Rachel said:
"You've put me on the spot here! "My first World Cup goal.
